That’s right. I crawled into this hole today after speaking to my class…about myself…in front of a camera
. I hate, no, I loathe speaking in front of a camera. And to top it off, I forgot to speak about my job and stuff. Well, that’s a big part of the grade, so I got to re-do mine at the end, which was a little better, though I kind of went off topic. Oh well. I felt like such an ass. Seriously. A complete and utter ass
. I never want to do that again. I am soooo not a camera person.
Anyway, this friend of mine in my math class, who happens to be a very cool, however unreliable, wanted to prove that he could follow through with plans :\. He asked what I was doing Saturday night and that I should meet him at the theatre and we would see a movie. Now, I said no because that’s more like a date than a friends thing, which he disagreed. I asked how he would feel if his girlfriend (now ex) went to a movie alone with a guy. He said he’d trust her. Ha! The girl behind me immediately called him stupid
. But either way, J did not think it would be fine. He just said, “That kid wants his ass kicked, doesn’t he?”
He’s so funny
. Anyway, the math class kid finally agreed that it wasn’t a good idea and that was the end of that. Do you guys agree? Would it have been wrong? I think so. I don’t think movies are for guys and girls to see together when they’re dating other people. That’s just my thoughts.
My car finally got fixed. It used to surge and race a lot and randomly die at time, which was not only embarrassing, but dangerous. I went to school today with it all fixed and it was heavenly. Just heavenly
. Driving is so much more fun now. Heh.
J will be calling me soon so I better get going. Have a nice night everyone

I lied to a political party person the other day. They came to our door and she asked me if I knew anything about so-n-so. I said, “No I can’t vote yet.” Heh.
That was naughty, but fun at the same time. I hate those people. They try to convince you to vote for someone. I’d rather get the facts myself instead of from someone running for office. That’s just stupid.
J and I had a conversation about us getting married. It was weird. We talk about it even though it’s not happening for a few years yet. It started when my boss, after finding out how long we’d been dating, asked if we were getting married. What am I supposed to say? Yes? No? Maybe? We’ll see? I’d like to have something a little better than that prepared. So I asked J what I should say. He told me, “Tell them we’re on the track.” ha ha
I just laughed. “We’re on the track.” LOL That’s great. Leave it to him to come up with something like that. Then we talked about clothing and how it was 30 degrees here on Sunday and some girl was in church with that stupid denim-skirt-with-spandex-and-flip-flops outfit. I told J that if my kids did that, I wouldn’t be taking care of them if they got sick because of it. He called me mean
. So after that and a few other dicussion topics we ended the night and about 20 minutes later I got a message on my phone that read, “I’m about to fall asleep but I just wanted you to know I love you and I’ll be asleep after I send this.” Then got another message that read, “I would love to marry you someday.”
AWWWWW!
Isn’t that sweet? He can be so damn adorable sometimes. I love it!
We had a chicks dinner last night
. My sisters, a few friends, and my mother all got together for dinner at some Chinese place. It was lots of fun until the end. One of the girls, let’s call her S, had her birthday on the 30th of September, same as my mother. Well, since we never see her, we gave her the present we got her at the dinner. Turns out my mother was thinking it was a birthday dinner for S and was hurt because we never did anything for her birthday
. It sort of slipped by with my sister gone and then moving and my dad was also gone that weekend. So now we’re all trying to figure out how to get out of the dog house
. It really wasn’t a dinner for S, but that was the only time we could give her the gift. Leave it to my mother to get insulted over that
. She thought that we felt S was more important than her. Jeez.
They opened the Wet Seal here in my area. I’m super excited!
I already got some jeans and a pair of work pants. I also got the card so I can save 10% each time I shop there for a year! YAY!
They have long jeans for dirt cheap which makes me happy because it’s always so hard to find jeans that are long enough for me
. That’s all I’ve got going on for today. I’ll write again soon!

Sorry I haven’t updated in a while
. I had Thursday and Friday off school, so I was working. Not at my new job, just my old one. My new job at the bridal shop was paused this week as they were training a new person in. No worries, I’m not getting fired. Every time I told someone I had the week off work, they’d tell me I was getting fired. Jerks
! But I spoke with my boss today and asked her if I was doing okay and I just wanted to make sure she wasn’t getting rid of me. She immediately shook her head and said, “No you’re not going anywhere. You’re doing just fine.”
This is good news for me
! I was a little nervous. She can’t really fire me until December because she agreed let this job be my internship
- but she’s already got me scheduled during those three weeks of vacation I have. Turns out another chick I work with has recently gotten two complaints, and that was after she was put on “probation”. I believe she will be getting the boot soon, which is unfortunate since I had gotten to know her and she’s a nice person…only slightly annoying.
Anyway, I’m working on a new layout for this place. I’m hoping to have something up for Halloween
. I did have layouts ready, but after putting this one up, I spotted a few glitches. So now I have to go back and re-do those layouts.
K1 and her son are moving into her husband’s home. He’s a total organization freak, and she’s an unorganized procrastor. Needless to say, it’s not going well. Apparently when K Jr. had his day off school Friday, he was given a list from his step-dad of things to do around the house
. I think it was something like: clean his room, rake the yard, fold 2 baskets of laundry, and something else. That’s not very nice to do to an 11-year-old on his day off school
. But at least he was productive. His step-dad is not a real father to anyone, so this is new to him. Even though they don’t want anymore kids. I think they should have one
. It would be good for my brother-in-law to raise a baby of his own. It’s hard playing “step-dad” when you’ve never been just a plain “dad”. I’m hoping things will get better for everyone.
Well I think that’s all I will babble on about today. I’ve got other crap to do tonight. Have a good one!

So I worked Saturday bright and early. We were doing all kinds of stuff and I ended up helping this bride and her mother look at bridesmaid’s dresses. I honestly felt like I knew what I was doing. I used to stumble around and not really know what to do, but that day it felt like I really was the professional
. I know that sounds stupid, but when people come into a bridal shop, they expect you to be knowledgeable and credible. So when I didn’t know very much, it was really hard to pull off the, “Don’t worry, I know what I’m doing,” look. It also helped that these two ladies were so incredibly nice
. We were joking and laughing and it was fun for all of us, which is totally great. That’s what I love about my job. We’re not drones that run around doing the same thing every day. We get to know our customers. We laugh with them, we talk to them, and we’re personal with them
. When you’re there you know that the person helping you really does like their job and you’re not just another paycheck. Okay…I need to stop gushing about my job. I still hate being on my feet all day if that makes it less gushy
.
J left yesterday. I missed him a lot last night and this morning. Beds stay toastier longer with two people in them
. The last night he was here I was updating my site (obviously) and when he asked why I put J instead of his name, I clicked it. He read the whole thing and I sat there, trying not to squirm
. It’s like someone reading your diary in front of you and you’re just waiting for criticism
. He actually loved it
. He even told me hours later, “That was so sweet what you wrote on your site about me. I love you so much.”
I was shocked. He’s never paid much attention to what I do online. I even tried to explain a little about coding to him and he completely lost interest saying that it was, “hurting his eyes.”
. It’s nice to know that he doesn’t think this is all stupid, like my mother or my sister’s who don’t get it at all
.
To those of you on Despair, I am sorry for my late comments. J comes home for about a week every month or so and I sort of lose track of my online life. I have caught up completely and I’m hoping you’ll be nice and not report me for being late. I’m normally very prompt about that stuff. I haven’t gotten an email from exentrique in a while and I “lost” my password so I’m waiting on a replay email. Wish me luck! Thanks for those that commented, but you should all know…They made the movie seem like Jessica Simpson was the star. She plays a minor role, really. It was hilarious!

J and I went to see Employee of the Month the other night. We were nervous that it would be totally stupid because of J.S., and even though they really emphasized her boobs, it was surprisingly very funny
! I am totally buying it when it comes out. We both loved it
. J.S. didn’t have many lines and she’s not a good actress, but she did okay. Maybe 2.5 out of 5 stars
.
Turns out J won’t be leaving until tomorrow. His boss is getting his truck fixed and told J that they’ll leave out on Tuesday, which is when he’ll get there. Luckily, it’s only a 15 hour ride. The others coming here were like 23, 24, even 29 hours
. Who wants to spend a whole day on a bus anyway? So at least he got to stay here for the day and have dinner with my family
. My sister, her husband and son, and my other sister were all there. We had potato soup with homemade bread. It was soooo good. I like having J over with the rest of my family. He doesn’t see them often so it’s nice for them to get to know him
.
So tonight J and I are going to go see his parents quick tonight. He doesn’t get along with his father, but he’s fine with his mother. I won’t go into the personal stuff, but let’s just say his father is not someone to aspire to…in any way, shape, or form
. I’ll try to write soon and keep up with my commenting. I’ve been doing pretty good…kind of
.
