Yes! I new layout! Cameron had been up for about 6 months and it was getting ridiculous. Since I have been “living” with my boyfriend, I haven’t been able to do anything graphic with the site, as I didn’t have the programs. But now, we’ve gotten Adobe, lots of fonts, and all my brushes! Now we’re back in business! I am very happy to see something different. I think the next layout will have lots of bright colors, but I really liked the contrast in this layout, so I stuck with it. I hope you all like it!

Apparently, even though I am more qualified than half of the people at the new place I applied at, they have not called me. When I called to check on the status of my application, the manager gave me a very generic answer and hung up. Either he’s sick of getting calls, or he sucks at his job. So I’m going to continue my search, but for now I am still sitting at Pier 1. What makes me so mad is that I loved what I do. It was the best job ever. Unfortunately, due to my manager being a complete flake, I no longer enjoy what I do. I hate that. I hate that I have been robbed of my love of my job. It’s like it was stolen and I can’t get it back. I refuse to go on pretending nothing happened, but until I get another job, there isn’t much I can do. So the hunt continues.

I don’t have too much to say. I just wanted to write about the new layout. I hope you all have a great weekend.

Sorry it’s been so long. My computer is being worked on and I only get a few chances to use the one in my mother’s office. Turns out the paper I thought was due Wednesday wasn’t really due for another two weeks…which makes me really glad I stayed up until 2am Tuesday working on it. But at least I have it done and can refine it before I turn it in. Yes, I’m always thinking.

We went bowling Tuesday night again…good fun! There are these two that come to watch (friends) and this time they had been drinking, but she was much farther gone than he was, which was hilarious. They ended up bowling with us and he had to bowl for her, but eventually she was bowling for herself while talking on her phone. She’d just chuck the ball and not even care where it went…it was hilarious! Good times were had by all.

We went to Shooter last night. Awesome movie! I loved it!

I have decided to pick up applications at a few places . I’m tired of my job. I never want to go and I don’t even feel like I know what I’m doing anymore. I want some steady hours and once-in-a-while I’d like a Saturday off. I can never get together with my family anymore because they get together on the weekends and I’m always working. It sucks. So I’ll see what else it out there. You never know, right? Maybe I won’t get any Saturdays off, but at least I’ll like what I’m doing (hopefully!).

First off, Happy Easter everyone! Since I won’t be writing until after it’s over, I figured I would say it now. Secondly, I’m doing really well. This whole being single after two years thing feels really, really good. I just feel like I can finally breathe. But anyway, I don’t want to dwell on it.

We are going to see Blades of Glory tonight and I’m super excited! It looks hilarious and I’m going with a bunch of really fun people, so I know I’ll have a good time! I don’t have to work today, so I decided to stop in the computer lab here at school to write. I’m going with a friend to do some volunteer work at the Salvation Army store that the Retail Merchandising students helped open. She’s got to put in some hours and I don’t have anything to do so I’m going with to make it fun. It’s basically keeping the store nice and such, which is what I do at work so no big deal there. After that we’re going to dinner at her house and then to the movie. I’ve been keeping myself occupied lately and it’s been working really well. I guess J is on his way home and he’ll probably get back sometime today, but I really don’t want to deal with it today so I’m not going to. We’re not together now and I don’t have to rearrange my schedule for him. Not like he ever did it for me anyway. Blah. I just wish I could skip the whole weird part.

To top it off, my English teacher announced on Wednesday that we have a paper due on Monday and if asked, we might get to read them in front of a camera crew that is filming. WTF! I don’t have time to write a paper, much less deal with camera crews. Boo. Oh well. Hopefully they don’t pick my paper.

Went to see “300″ on Friday night. Very, very good. It’s got a lot of gore…you know blood and guts and people getting their heads chopped off, but it was still awesome . I loved the music especially. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes movies such as Troy, Kingdom of Heaven, or Gladiator. I went with a friend and some of the guys she works with at the carwash. They’re all really funny and we had a good time.

Saturday night the same friend and I went to a wedding reception of an older couple her parents know. It was really awkward at first because I didn’t know a soul there, but after the dacing started we had a blast! My feet hurt so bad at the end of the night, but after dacing to The Twist, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, and other oldies hits, I didn’t care! I knew most of the songs and once some of the other party-goers got to drinking it was even better! It was lots of fun…I am now more inclined to crash wedding receptions.

On another note, J is getting pretty lonely out on the road. I don’t know exactly what it is about this time that’s different, but he’s having a really hard time and so am I. Their boss is pissing me off because while they’re working he is supposed to be paying for the hotels that the boys stay in. Well, since they are in Kentucky and that’s where his boss lives, he’s staying at his own house and making the guys get a hotel on their own and their boss will take it out of their checks . They aren’t even working that much so J is losing money every day. Not to mention, the last hotel they were at had a broken phone that wouldn’t take incoming calls (outgoing long distance is expensive so I had to call him). J talked to the guy at the front desk about it and he wasn’t able to remove phone charges, but said he’d take money off the room so J could call me. We talked for about 40 minutes . The next morning his boss came to pay the balance (the balance would be taken out of the guys checks at the end of the month). Come to find out the clerk never took money off the room and J’s boss was pissed. He bitched him out the rest of the day. I can’t wait for him to get a job here and be done with all of this crap. It’s complete bullshit and it pisses me off how his boss treats him. He told me if I showed up in Louisville to take him home he’d come with me and never go back. Now if I only had the money…

I completely forgot about my Art midterm that was originally scheduled for today . I had to skip another class just to study some stuff. Luckily, she rescheduled it for Wednesday, so I have some time to really prepare. So far I’ve made up one exam. I have to make up the other two tomorrow. I am hoping they go well as the one I took this morning. I think I actually knew what I was doing!

N told me today that she’s gotten a lot of hints about her boyfriend possibly proposing . She’s almost positive they’ll get engaged over the summer. Go figure. J and I have 1 1/2 years on those two and they get married first. But she told me I get to be her maid of honor, so that’s pretty awesome! It’s very like her to settle down early. Well…maybe 21 isn’t early to some, but it is to me! However, working in a bridal shop has made it seem much closer than I thought!

As far as the new layout goes, I am undecided if I like it. I like the image and background, but I’m having a creativity block lately. I’m sure this layout will change until I love it because I’m retarded like that.
